The After Dark Festival
A bold, community-powered celebration of fire, light and creativity, After Dark transformed UEL’s Docklands campus into a night-time playground.
With blazing displays, circus performances, glowing puppets, and a full illuminated parade, this annual festival brings together students, families, performers, and local residents to celebrate the spirit and diversity of East London.

So we got stuck in… immersed ourselves in the energy, followed the action, and captured the night as it unfolded. From glowing puppets to fire dancers, every frame was about movement, emotion, and atmosphere.
